Shipping Policy – Shanga Handmade Crafts
At Shanga Handmade Crafts, every item is handmade with love and carefully packaged to reach you in perfect condition. Below is our shipping policy to help you understand how we process and deliver your orders.
1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3-5 business days. In rare circumstances we may request an extension depending on the uniqness or a special aspect that may require more time to process.

Custom or made-to-order pieces may require 7-12 business days depending on the complexity. In some cases we may require a 50% deposit for custom orders before we can start processing it.

You will receive a notification message once your order is ready for dispatch.
2. Shipping Methods (Kenya & East Africa)
We deliver nationwide through trusted courier partners. We are open to clients prefferences for the method or courrier company of their choice provided that the said method/courrier is available within the country,The client will be liable for any extra charges resulting from such prefference.
All payments due must be made before dispatch of any items ordered.

Same-Day Delivery (Nairobi Only): Available upon request at an extra cost
East Africa (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda)

3. International Shipping
We ship worldwide using international courier services.

Customs duties, import taxes, or VAT charged by your country are not included in our prices and must be paid by the customer.

Nairobi same-day delivery and deliveries outside major towns may attract additional charges.

6. Delivery Address & Contact Information
Please ensure your delivery information is accurate.
Shanga Handmade Crafts is not responsible for:

Delays due to incomplete addresses

Failed deliveries caused by unreachable recipients

Additional costs incurred from redelivery requests

8. Lost or Stolen Packages

For lost packages, we will work with the courier to investigate, but final responsibility lies with the courier.
